When I was younger I wouldn’t have been caught dead in a polo neck! It is only in recent times that my love for them has really manifested. Maybe this is because I’m finally realising that looking stylish whilst staying warm is actually a possible combination. Although I will admit that I sometimes still leave the house on cold days without a coat…All in the name of fashion! Please tell me that I’m not the only one who does this? I reassure myself by the fact that I am a still a college student, so naturally my collection of coats hasn’t quite reached the stage where I have one that will match every outfit. Of course some day I will have a closet especially for my extensive coat collection!

I am a big fan of high waisted, skinny jeans and these Topshop ones are the ideal pair. The material is so soft and comfortable, making them the perfect choice for everyday wear.

My old black boots were looking pretty worn recently, so I decided that it was about time to invest in a new pair. I had my eye on this pair for a while, so when I saw that they had gone into the sale and they were in my size (flabbergasting stuff) I quickly snatched them up!

On a final note, where did that weekend go to? I can’t believe it’s already nearing the end of January! That’s all for today . Talk soon Xx Elle

Eleonora Carisi 2Eleonora Carisi, Italian fashion blogger and concept store owner, sported this vibrant look during Milan Spring Summer 2015 fashion week. I know this was a while back now but I only recently came across the look and I just had to share it. I love how she added a fun and youthful vibe to this Roberto Cavalli dress with her choice of accessories. I mean how cool is the red lips clutch? The contrasting pink shoes are the perfect match for this dress and show that Eleonora really knows how to accessorise! I hope you enjoy todays post. Let me know what you think of this look in the comments below. Talk soon Xx Elle

New Years Eve

DSC08882 DSC08890 DSC08895 DSC08900DSC08892 Here is the outfit I wore on New Years Eve. This year I kept things quite simple and steered clear of the classic New Years Eve sequins. Although of course I did introduce a bit of sparkle to the outfit with my jewellery. I adore these earrings I recently bought in Topshop as they are quite different from my every day go-to pearl earrings, so the change was very welcomed. I am a big leather pants enthusiast as they are just so comfortable yet stylish at the same time. Whether it’s a casual or more dressed up event that you’re attending the leather pant is always a good option! I’m also really into high necked tops at the moment as they provide a bit of extra warmth during these cold days. It was the pattern on this top which initially caught my eye. I also love the transparent detail of this top as it added a ‘going out’ kind of feel to the finished look. That’s all for today. Talk soon Elle Xx

With the cold weather well and truly here, the only way to face leaving the house is by  wrapping up warm in polo necks, fur (the faux kind of course) and woolly hats.So on that note today I am sharing some cold weather outfit inspiration. Hope you enjoy! Talk soon Xx Elle

During the week I attended Trinity College fashion show and this is the outfit I donned for the event. I had planned on not wearing any tights but when the night came around it was far too cold to not wear them. I would have been crazy to leave the house without them! I wanted to add something a little different to the outfit so I put these little navy sparkly socks on over my tights. This addition was either going to be a master creation or a complete fail but in the end it turned out that I really liked the look. The outfit is actually a shift dress underneath the fluffy jumper. I love the pocket detail on the dress as it gives the look a kind of sixties feel. Needless to say once I was inside at the event this jumper kept me lovely and cosy all night long.
